hi,
i'd like to know if there's a way to make a fresh drupal install programatically.
I want to allow users to access a new drupal install when they register.
I installed drupal and then begon to install some basic modules like imagecatch, views, etc.. But when i enable these modules and click on save button, my website just disapear! I get the url then: http://x.x.x.x/mymap/admin/build/modules/list/confirm En nothig happen. First by doing couple of times reload page the website was back. But after doing the same thing it did't work and i decided to reinstall drupal but again while i was installing the modules the same problem happend.
I've been wondering 'bout something with Drupal 7. Our hosting offers PHP 5.1.2. They refuse to upgrade to PHP 5.2 or 5.3. God knows why... They explained it once, but it was typical "get rid of the customer" stuff that didn't make any sense. Switching over isn't an option, though.
So, is it possible to run Drupal 7 on a hosting that's running PHP 5.1 instead of 5.2 or higher, or will we do better by sticking to Drupal 6?
