Hi I have been using Drupal for a while now and i love it but I have a new website to build with subdomains which I have never used before.
My problem:
I need to install Drupal as normal; the site will have a LOT of content based on different departments within the main site. I also want to separate the departments into their own subdomains so they feel like they have their own websites and it will be easier for the users to find the relevant content faster, but all of their content will also be in the main site.
To start, without using LDAP (389 DS), Drupal seems to work just fine. The problem I am having is getting Drupal to write to the LDAP server.
With what I was able to configure, Drupal can authenticate against LDAP, but it cannot update the actual LDAP entry or create a new LDAP entry for a new user. This is a clean install of both Drupal as well as 389. Is there anyone who can assist with this issue, or does anyone know of a how-to on setting Drupal up to work with the 389DS?
I have a multi-site setup (sites/foo.com and sites/bar.com).
I'd like to bar.com to be a duplicate what's on the foo.com url so I've symlinked foo.com to bar.com.
However, viewing the bar.com and trying to log in redirects me to the install.php page with "Drupal already installed".
Hello everyone! I am a newbie of Drupal. I have just installed DAMP by Acquia and everything seem alright! Now I would like to download Drupal core and import it into DAMP. The question is: can I place the folder for Drupal core in the partition D of my computer hard disk even though I have installed DAMP in the partition C?
Cheers
