Installing Drupal

I can't figure out how to download this program...i click on what i want to download, then i click save, then o try to open it and the same thing keeps popping up......has anynoe else gotttne this preoblem?

The MySQL error was: Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client.

Checked the mysql client version it is 3.23.58

Is 4.7 cvs compatible with the above version ?

Hi: I have been running DRUPAL for a year or so, and today the main page started yielding the classic "Acess Denied" message. My provider has been changing things, and I'm sure its related. Also, when I click on "administer" I get the following error message "user error: Got error 28 from table handler

Hi everybody,

All external files seems to be missing in IE.
The question is why isn't IE showing it properly (looks and works fine in FF and opera) ?

It doesn't matter if I change theme or not.
I'm suspecting sth with .htaccess but it's just strange that it affects only one browser.
Any ideas ? Or questions I could answer to get those ideas ? :)

Hi! I'm trying to install drupal on WinXP PC with apache and mysql.

I successfully created drupal database but when I'm trying to aceess page with browser I get "Warning: Wrong parameter count for mysql_connect() in c:\apache\htdocs\includes\database.mysql.inc on line 31" message... it's when I have line $db_url = 'mysql://root:test@localhost/drupal'; in settings.php

if I write $db_url = 'http://root:test@localhost/drupal'; instead I get "unssupported database type" error

How to set it up anyway?
