Installing Drupal

Whenever I run cron, I get this message:.

"Failed to notify www.drupal.org at /xmlrpc.php: Didn't receive 200 OK from remote server. (HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently)."

This was working fine up until recently. Is there a new site Address for drupal notification that I am not aware of?

This question is about multiple sites with 1 Drupal intall.code base in this environment:

* Drupal install is in a subdomain

fansites.example.com

* I want to create multiple sites in subdirectories

fansites.example.com/aliciakeys
fansites.example.com/parishilton
fansites.example.com/marthastewart
... and so on....

There was an eror on line 102 after intalling DB and uploading files.

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/flatman/public_html/drupal/sites/default/settings.php on line 102

I saw another post that said 102 line error reflected the PHP settings - it would be really good if someone could take a minute to look at a php settings file and let me know what needs attention

the longer im logged in the more guests appear to be browsing my site. once it got up to over 50 and i know thats impossible because it just opened for one thing and that was before i even told people about it!

it doesnt matter what i search for even if i know its on my site it turns up no results! why is this!?
