Installing Drupal

Good evening all

I have just installed Drupal and various contribs, all from CVS (on 15 November).

The two I am most interested in throw up the above error:

* theme editor when I try to config
* gallery module when I try to config

I've tried to find a solution for the past couple of days, in the forums here and via google, without much luck and, as you can probably guess from my login name, I have no idea where to start looking on my own.

I'm trying to get Drupal to work, but it is giving me strange results.

For example, when I try to add vocabulary in Administer / Categories, it seems the system is trying to submit the page to Create Content. What I entered as Vocabulary Name is now the Authored by: field. Which of course gives an error because the username doesn't exist.

Or when I Administer / Content / Configure and set some options -- if I try to Save configuration, the resulting page is the home page and the settings are not saved.

Installed Drupal 4.6.3 in a Trustix server 3.0 with PHP 5 today.

Have a non-fatal error when I clicked on the configure button on the default bluemarine template

Fatal error: Only variables can be passed by reference in /****/modules/system.module on line 649

Have tried setting allow_call_time_pass_reference to On in my php.ini file to no effect.

Have pretty much a base install only with maybe the filemanager module added.

Is this a bug?

Hi all,
I've install drupal4.6.3 to

site/subdir1 - db1 with .htaccess restriction
copy settings and it's path to
/subdir2 - db2 no restriction
/subdir3 - db3 no restriction
//subdir4 - db3 no restriction
/sundir5 - db2 no restriction

The subdir1 & 3/4 work well with its settings, but the subdir2/5 require access login from subdir1. The problem is I don't know where the mistake is and why it function in subdir3/4 but not in subdir2/5. Any suggestion?

I've been trying to use some modules, and I've been getting a number of errors that are along the lines of:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: form_select()

The page doesn't load, and that's all it says along with the path and the line.

Is there something quirky with the tabs and the friendselectric theme?

I edited my primary links under the theme-configure screen but
only a single tabe shows up, even if I have 4-5

Any pointers with this?

Also, a side topic, but I dabbled with StyleMaster to edit the .css file to change the appearance of the theme
Is this a good method/program for CSS editing?
