Installing Drupal

Hello All!

I(and proberly a lot of you)(are) am very new to Drupal 8!

There is something wrong in my Drupal 8 installation with the Wampserver.

I installed everything. Everything works!
But after logging out as admin, i cannot login again. Very strange.
Has anyone an idea?

If i have to change something in a folder, please tell also in which directory i can find it.

Hi friends! I have a shared hosting account with hostforlife.eu, and currently have maybe 6 or 7 drupal 6 sites installed there. Drupal 6 is installed in the public_html folder. I have a couple of Drupal 6 sites running in an multisite arrangement.

I would like to move most of the sites to drupal 7, but one or two cannot because of themes etc.Can someone point me to a document that lays out how to install drupal 6 and 7 in subfolders of public_html, or explain how it can be done?

I downloaded the Zen theme and FTP'ed it to sites/all/themes.

It appeared in my list of themes, and I clicked on the Default setting. I got this error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function render() in /home2/wvwworg/public_html/scholaclasses/forum/sites/all/themes/zen/templates/block.tpl.php on line 12

and now I can't get back to my Administration Themes page to change it back to Garland.

I was hoping it would be a simple matter to change the theme to a mobile-friendly theme, but apparently I got in over my head very quickly.

Can anyone help?

Excuse me if this has already been solved but I'm new to Drupal (today!) and while installing I ran into several issues. I wont get into details about all of them but I managed to finally install Drupal and was hoping someone could give me some pointers for next time.

The issue: After what appears to be a successful install, I get a:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /drupal/ on this server.

I was successful in getting the Acquia Dev Desktop installed.

The next step was to "Create a new Drupal site" which takes me to "Select a Drupal distribution to start from". Watching some Youtube videos on installing Drupal I went with the Drupal Core files for 7.38 and that seems to have worked as I now see in the Acquia Dev Desktop my site information.

I'm on Day #1 of learning Drupal and looking forward to getting into the guts of development. But during the desktop install I get the error "Fatal error: Call to undefined function field_attach_load() in C:\Users\JCross\Sites\devdesktop\drupal-7.38\includes\entity.inc on line 354" during the SITE INFORMATION page.

Any ideas??
