Installing Drupal

I have add a second domain to my existing Bluehost account but it seems too difficult to install drupal on my second site. Any help or guide that can help me??

When installing, I get "failed to connect to the server. The server reported the following message: ." What does the period mean? That's the entire message. How do I fix this? I've been trying for 2 days to get past this and I can't. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello and sorry to bother you again.

I have a site in temporary production server. Now I got the "final" production environment with two front-ends and a database/file-server.

I had a simple idea how to move the site from one server to another: copy the database to the farm database server, copy the drupal directory to front-end (one to start with), change settings.php to point to the database in database server, copy the nginx conf-file and just run it.

Now when trying to run for example "drush cr" I get:

Today i'm trying to install it on a free host : 000webhost

I choose this one because it will be able to bear all the files from drupal 8, the other hosts I tried had a limit to 10 000 files which is to low for Drupal 8.

I'm starting with installing either Drupal 6 or 7, because it is lighter than Drupal 8.

So, I paid a hosting company a fat chunk of money for service to host unlimited domains and get large bandwidth and storage, and the sales website said that SSH access was available. After purchase and after setting up various sub domains for Drupal development and testing, I got around to setting up SSH, for which there appeared to be tools, which I used. After setup, when login didn't work, I submitted a problem ticket and got the following response:

Is it ok to ask a pre-drupal install question here? I tried on the xampp forums and would like to try somewhere else. If this is not an appropriate venue let me know and I'll delete the post or something of that order.

I have xampp installed on windows 10 and can browse to the xampp intro page at localhost and http://machinename

I created a dir at C:\xampp\apps\d75_01htdocs and gave it an index.html. This is where I will eventually install a testbed drupal 7.5.
