Installing Drupal

Hello Drupal people, my first post

So, as topic says, i have no web folder in browser when i go to installation phase.

I have it on system, i just chmod-ed sites/default/settings.php and files folder, here is ls:

$ > ls 
composer.json  composer.lock  drush  LICENSE  load.environment.php  phpunit.xml.dist  README.md  scripts  vendor  web

As i put /web in url i get:

If it's such a good idea to have nested docroot, for example a `web` subdirectory, and to have contrib modules in `modules/contrib` and custom modules in `modules/custom`, why doesn't the Drupal 8 installer set that up from the outset?

I installed drush in my windows 10 machine. I am using Wamp as Server. when i run drush command in cmd it is showing .

'drush' is not recognized as an internal or external command,

when i navigate to drush path it is working.(C:\Users\myname\AppData\Roaming\Composer\vendor\drush\drush).

I tried setting global path it is not working. can anyone please hep me?

On a Drupal 7.60 installation, I block on selinux rights at the sites/default/Files directory.
I am using CentOS 7.5, Apache 2.4, PHP 7.1.
In the home directory of a user ' u00070 ', I want to run Drupal 7. The installation does not pose any particular worries and Drupal 7 works except the update manager that sends me on the choice of a connection mode (by proposing me FTP).

Hi Everyone,

I've managed to install latest Drupal 8.6 into my environment. Installation went well but I cannot access any link except frontpage, getting 404.

Brief googling brought topics with same issue without any response.

I took nginx config from my perfectly working D7 installation, then replaced wit with recommended D8 NGINX config - no luck.

Appreciate any ideas.

I've created a poll and it seems to be working fine but I can't seem to get the "Most Recent Poll" block to appear on the front page

Any of the other blocks that I enable appear.

Any ideas what I'm missing?
