1️⃣ Introduce yourself here when you join the meeting

tim Hello everybody, Tim here
shaal :blob_wave:
tim A question - On the module page there is different colors I have see at the bottom. 1. What is that area called? Releases?   and 2. Green means Security team is monitoring module and maintainers consider it stable, right? What do the other colors mean?I have seen lots of yellow. Is there Orange?
leslieg can you provide a URL @tim Not sure which modules page you are referring to
pearcraft Howdy everybody! :blob_wave:
tim https://www.drupal.org/project/token'almost' all modules have oneIts the green area for the token module.  Some are yellow.
tim It's a basic question that I am embarrassed -  I don't know .
el7cosmos Hi
el7cosmos @tim I believe it’s based on this, green is recommended, yellow is supported, red is not supported
tim Red is Security has been Revoked? That screenshot was really helpful, thank you!
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) I don’t think unsupported would show there, why would unsupported releases be listed for “download”?
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) @tim do you have an example of where red items are shown there?
tim No
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) I don’t think they would show up. Its either green for recommended things or yellow for not recommended things.
tim Ok they are filtered out, makes sense thx

2️⃣ Thanks to @pearcraft for expanding the Top 100 module list Top 100 Modules Categories Sheet

leslieg and thanks to @tim for help with this
leslieg @pearcraft you used @chrisfromredfin’s Top 100 list and expanded the information in the spreadsheet based off those modules, correct?
pearcraft That's correct.
pearcraft There's also a little note in the far right bottom corner of the sheet that says:"Out of the top 100 Drupal Modules, 4 are Drupal 7 only & 29 are Drupal 8/9 only.
leslieg I added a few additional columns @pearcraft as noted in the other threads. These will be places for other folks to contribute to this project. Let me know if you have additional thoughts on that

3️⃣  Folks can  start looking at the Categories for each of the Top 100 modules and make comments on each project by selecting the module name and adding a comment

leslieg Comment might be something like “this module should only be in categories a,b,or c” or “this module should not be in the “User Management” category”
pearcraft Newbie Question: The comments should be in the Google Sheet titled "Drupal.org Categories Plan", right?
leslieg I don’t see that sheet in your spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1uZULaKLt5nwzYfzsrIUYLPEEO1dZFl5c....  That supercedes Chris’ spreadsheet, correct?

4️⃣ I added a “Has logo” column. Folks can look at each project and flag which ones already have a logo on the d.o project page

tim For this conversation we can figure that if there is an image we could use as an logo?  Or is there a specific pic / image to be classified as a logo currently on D.O.
leslieg we can check the files and see if one pf the images is suitable for a logo. If it is not the first image, add a comment in the column that the order of the images needs to be changed.
tim D.o Doesn't have a 'field' for logos....
tim Its just all images.    I am thinking  ??
leslieg yes, the first image is used for the logo. see https://www.drupal.org/project/webform
tim ah ok
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) The way I would explain it is some projects created logos for themselves and figured that would be the primary image shown, so put it there  It is not necessarily a logo some projects use it for screenshot of the UI for expectation management.

5 I added a “Has good short description” column and set all values to No. Change to Yes if the first couple of sentences in the “project description” field on the drupal.org project page for that module has an easy to understand short description that we can use on the “Card view” in the Project Browser. Otherwise select “No” and add a comment with a proposed short description

6️⃣ I would like to get the card and list views reviewed soon, however we still cannot load the project browser using Gitpod. @chrisfromredfin will bring this up again on the main PB meeting tomorrow to see if we can get someone to help with that.

shaal Is there any problem with getting the project working on Gitpod?
shaal Last time (last week?) we spoke, there was a general issue in the module, that reads the FULL list of modules from d.o, which takes a few minutes. And because of that it seems to "load forever"
shaal Anyway, I am here to help, and if there's something I can fix - I'll be happy to do so
leslieg @chrisfromredfin and I have tried multiple times and never got gitpod to complete and display the site. @chrisfromredfin could you let @shaal know what the issue you found was
shaal The previous thread from last week - https://drupal.slack.com/archives/C01UHB4QG12/p1642000296043900
shaal The issue that should fix the problem - #3258248: onMount makes unpaginated API request, making PB unusable
leslieg Thanks, It times out every time for me @shaal
shaal Oh, that's a whole different issue
shaal Do you see that when you click on the link from the main readme of the project page ?
shaal image.png
shaal That?
leslieg Yes. I clicked that before this meeting and just went back to check on it and got the timeout error
shaal Do you mind to do a quick zoom/google-meet session?
shaal I'd like to see what you're seeing. I tested that link and it works for me.(takes about 1 minute of jumping G, before it loads up)
leslieg sure. meet.redfinsolutions.com/projb

7️⃣ Is there anything additional folks would like to discuss today?

shaal Update Gitpod's description link on main project page
shaal The text should be updated to -When using Gitpod for the first time, you'll need to login with Github.(removing the Gitlab option)
leslieg Thanks @shaal We’ll take care of doing that
leslieg Should be all set @shaal
el7cosmos Is there any plan on using tags/keywords along with categories?
leslieg @el7cosmos we hope to add filters for Ecosystem and Use Case in addition to Categories. Ecosystem is already a field available for projects, An example Commerce Payment would be in the Commerce ecosystem. Use Case would be for ways folks want to extend their Drupal site - examples might be Event Registration or Publishing workflow.
leslieg How were you envisioning tags or keywords to be used @el7cosmos?
el7cosmos to filter by typing in textfield for example, sometimes I’m not sure the project I’m looking for is under which category, or I’m not quite familiar with most categories. By having textfield, I can do quick filtering based on tags/keywords that pop in my head.
leslieg Yes, there will be a text search that does a partial search
leslieg Would you be willing to do a 1-1 interview sometime this week with me to get your thoughts on the project browser? 30 minutes max @el7cosmos
el7cosmos yes @leslieg, that can be arranged
leslieg what time zone are you in?  I’ll dm you a few times to choose from
leslieg @el7cosmos ^
el7cosmos @leslieg GMT +7
leslieg Does 7:00, 7:30 or 8:00 AM GMT+7 work Thursday or Friday for you? @el7cosmos
el7cosmos 8:00 AM GMT+7 Thursday works for me @leslieg
nod_ Will create an issue for it but for folks here I'd like to discuss the frontend implementation of the project browser and spend some time figuring out whether the svelte implementation is the best bet to get in to core rapidly
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) FY I added the site builders meeting to the core calendar, so that is reflected for anyone looking to meet

Participants:

lets4, shaal, leslieg, pearcraft, el7cosmos, Gábor Hojtsy, nod_

Note - there was another issue created for Jan 18th, however the issue was for the general Project Browser meeting, not the SItebuilder Subcommittee meeting. Wanted to make sure to credit folks for the Sitebuilders Subcommittee meeting
