To make life better for #1549496: Upgrade project to support 6.x-3.x version of Apachesolr (prep for d.o. upgrade to D7) we're moving project_solr into a separate project_solr project.

This issue is for:

A) Cleaning up project itself to remove solr.
B) Moving issues to the new queue.
C) Deploying the moved module to live d.o.

https://drupal.org/project/modules is working again now that https://drupal.org/commitlog/commit/122/366d136785600a86dca7553c10da67f3... is committed, pushed, updated into bzr vendor, and deployed.

So, A and C from the OP are done. B is a bit of a pain the ass without #1093650: Provide VBO support for issue management, although I know someone's got some greasemonkey crap working. Maybe someone can post info about that here. ;)
