I am trying to have a 2 panel layout with exposed filter in panel 1 and results in panel 2.
any help would be great.

merlinofchaos CreditAttribution: merlinofchaos commentedAs of Panels 3.7 you can now do this most easily with the 'view context'. You can also accomplish this by using the 'exposed filter in a block' method, add the exposed filter for the view in the left and the content pane for the view in the right.

japerryClosing this issue as outdated as Drupal 6 ctools is not supported. If this issue is relevant for Drupal 7, feel free to re-open and mark for Drupal 7 (or 8)
