Status messages displayed in block

All status messages are displayed in a homebox block, if it matches certain conditions. This homebox module wrongly assumes that all messages originate from the block itself, but they can be from any code elsewhere. For example a form in another block can produce validate errors, which are displayed in another block, while the messages are expected on top of the page.
