To test some of the functionality

The basic feature deployed by the example event content type:

  • Post a recurring event.
  • Notice on the event node each of the occurrences listed has its own URL.
  • Select one. Notice it shows the date of that occurrence, and future occurrences after it.
  • Click the local action tab 'Override occurrence'.
  • You'll get an edit form with the previous occurrence information filled in. Give this override a new title and/or date.
  • Note when it's listed on earlier occurrences the different date/title is shown.
  • Visit /doe-events see list of recurrences in order with overridden dates and titles when occurrence is different.
