I have drupal setup, 4.1.0 rc 1, using the martin theme. I created an account, added a few test stories, polls, blah, and can see it all find when I'm logged in. However, when I log out, nothing shows up on the home page.
I checked through the settings and can't find anything that might have anything to do with this.
Any ideas how I turn on the content for anonymous users?

permissions
visit Admin -> User mgmt -> User permissions and tick the checkbox for access content for the Anonymous role
Default should be changed
The default behaviour after install should include permissions for viewing content for anonymous users. Or, at least have a section in the Install guide that specifically states what to do to enable viewing content for anonymous users.
