login from block in IE6 not working

Hi,

I'm actually not sure whether this is related to the upgrade, but I noticed it after the upgrade, so this may be the appropriate place to post...

I upgraded from RC4 to 4.7 today, and everything looked good in Firefox. I then took a quick look in IE, and first thought I wasn't able to log in at all - I had new passwords sent, tried with and without logintobogan, created new accounts etc - no success, I was told "Sorry. Unrecognized username or password."

I started to search drupal.org and found this issue. So I tried logging in via /user - and it worked!

This problem only appears in IE, not in Firefox. I have no idea what might be going on, and it's not critical to me (since I don't have to log in via the block), but it still might hurt somebody else...

My site is hosted at dreamhost - php version 4.4.2 mysql, version 5.0.18
