I installed the unzipped folders for poormanscron into the drupal/modules directory, but it still isn't updating my RSS feed automatically. What didn't I do (I was told that simply uploading the unzipped poormanscron file folder to the drupal/modules directory should work.)
Is there anything on BlueHost's Cpanel that can get this running?

Did you enable the module?
After unzipping the poormanscron folder to the drupal/modules directory, did you go to administer->modules from your menu and enable the module? If the module is enabled, there should be a new menu option available: administer->settings->poormanscron, where you can set up the options for the module.
There is no 'poormanscron' on the list!
How do I know if I've activated it? I also installed the Google AdSense module, but I'm not seeing the ads either ...
What I did was, I unzipped the poormanscron so that all its files were put into a folder. I then uploaded this unzipped folder to the public_html/drupal/modules directory on my site.
When I go to 'administer' on this drupal site, I am not seeing either poormanscron nor Google AdSense for me to click on them, and then press 'save' or whatever.
Is poormanscron, AdSense, etc. included in one of the general areas that is already there? Maybe it is working, but there is no certain way for me to tell ....
go to 'administer', then
go to 'administer', then choose 'modules'. if you put poormanscron.module in the right place, it should appear in the list. Enable it there, save and then under administer -> settings, you can optionally tune poormanscron to your likings.

I can't save unzipped files as '.module files! How do I do this?
I saved it as an unzipped FOLDER in the /modules directory. It wasn't saved as a '.module' file -- but I was told that it wouldn't matter what the folder's name is -- drupal would find the file in the folder and it will work.
Maybe (to make matters more simple) I should just save unzipped module folders somehow as .module files, BUT I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO DO THIS.
Please help! I also want to add banners, etc. using regular old HTML script.
Im on BlueHost too
