Symfony 6 adds various type hints to various class methods, Symfony 5.4 will trigger deprecations when these are missing.
Type hints have been added to Drupal core subclasses in Drupal 10. Where a contributed modules subclasses Drupal core, or Symfony directly, it should also add those same type hints.
PHP allows overridden methods to add type hints when the parent method does not, meaning that contributed modules can add those type hints now, maintaining compatibility with Drupal 9 and enabling compatibility with Drupal 10.
