is there a way to track the visits to a certain page? for example i want to know how do people reach a certain page on my website and what pages drive most of the traffic to this page

enabling the core statistics module will provide some informtion but not alot.

may be helpful to use googles webmasters tools nad investigate the google analytics module.

also of note if you are on a shared server is is very possible that you have access to your statistics logs through your host panel.

You might want to try either:

1) Core Drupal Statistics module (enable via Modules admin)

2) Google Analytics
