Hi

D7, In One of my content type , "Submitted by" info still showing even "Display author and date information" disable in the content type setting.

Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem , I just need to turn this info off for this content type. Thank ypou

sounds like a theme issue. is the content type in question using a custom tpl.php file? Are you using a core theme? if no, does the issue occur on a core theme?

I had the same issue, you can remove or edit the code here, just remember every time you update Drupal to a new version, you'll need to change it again. 

modules -> node -> node.module
