Hi people, how are you?
I would like to be a co-maintainer of Field collection.
This project is most used in our company and we can contribute/help the project.
I guarantee that I will help a lot beyond taking all responsibility.
I'm currently help as co-maintainer with responsibility in the big projects, like:
Views
XML sitemap
Colorbox
Block Class
References
Automatic Entity Label
Site Map
There are currently 185,321 sites using the Field Collection and there are 600 open issues I go help close issues of D7 and D8 and I guarantee that I will help more and more the project.

pfrenssenI am not a current maintainer of Field Collection but I think RenatoG would be an excellent choice as co-maintainer.

.jch commentedI too believe RenatoG would be an excellent addition to the Field Collection module project. I don't know if the project has been sidetracked and stalled or abandoned altogether as there has been no advancement in quite some time. For this reason alone I avoid including the module in projects even though it provides some nice functionality for packaging fields as a entity 'package types' that can be embedded into other entities.
RenatoG: If you have not done so, you might take a look at https://www.drupal.org/node/251466 'Dealing with unsupported (abandoned) projects'.

ram4nd commentedI would be interested in co-maintenance of D7 version.

renatog commentedAgree with you @ram4nd!
We can join the effort and work together to keep the project safe and updated.
I opened the issue on the Drupal.org project ownership: https://www.drupal.org/project/projectownership/issues/2997001

fagoThanks!
Renato's request is solved, see https://www.drupal.org/project/projectownership/issues/2997001#comment-1...
Regarding Drupal 7, what are your plans there? I'd prefer to keep that stable and avoid larger changes, if so maybe better handle a new branch.
As RenatoG seems to be onboard with granting ram4nd access for d7 maintenance, I've just done so and added you as maintainers.
Please add info about maintenance status on the project page, so it's visible who is taken care of what.
I'm active on Drupal slack ("fago") and I'm happy to discuss issues via it, contact page works as well of course.

ram4nd commentedDefinitely agree, D7 version should stay stable and receive bug fixes and such. No breaking changes in the stable version.

renatog commentedThank you very much, Fago
As cited in the issue
To start I'll focus to help support the version 8.x.1.x because that's where we have a lot of work to do.
@ram4nd, we can talk in Drupal Slack and I can help you with support in version 7.x as well.
Are you in Drupal Slack? If yes, my user is RenatoG.
Thank you, Fago and Thank you very much, guys.
Good Work and Good Week dudes.
