chi commentedThe module seems pretty abandoned. So this instruction can be applicable.

truls1502Thanks, @Chi - I was waiting to post it tomorrow. However, I think it does not hurt to send a day earlier.
To the team who is handling Drupal.org project ownership:
I want to help to maintain the module, primarily Drupal 7 (I am also open for D8), and also help back to the Drupal Community because the module has helped a lot of my work and sites, and I wish to do favour back to this module. My goal is to improve the module and share my codes back to Drupal.org since I believe in karma.
So first, I want to fix the long RTBC-list and make sure the module is the newest updated and also is covered by security coverage. I will also make sure that the module is also compatible with PHP version 7.2. The Git has the last committed in March 20th, 2015.
However, the issue has been created by @RenatoG - But I would love to be the maintaining of the module if he is no longer interested in it since I wish to respect him when he was the first who created the issue.
Also, during the two weeks, I have been trying contacting @sun and @davereid (where the maintainers are listed on Project's description) several times through the Slack and e-mail.
I have also make a patch to the D7 version which is included by:

dddave commentedI've added truls1502 as comaintainer to the abandoned project. The project is VERY widely used and needs to be maintained. However, please act carefully when pushing new releases. Good luck!
If RenatoG is still interest, feel free to post here.

truls1502Thank you @dddave, I would like to become an owner of the project if it is possible? Since I am not able to add other maintainers in future in case if there are other potential Drupal developers.
renatog commented@dddave: Yes, I'm still interested.
I want to join efforts with @7truls1502 to help the project!
Thank you very much!
Good Work and Good Week.
Best,

truls1502@RenatoG - I am happy to have you on the team!
@dddave - Would you able to give me the project, so I can add other co-maintainers such as RenatoG?
th_tushar commented@RenatoG, I have added you as a co-maintainer for this project.
@truls1502, you can request for adding maintainer permission after successfully maintaining this project for sometime.
renatog commentedThank you @th_tushar and Dave.

truls1502Hello again!
I am not able to re-open the issue. However, I was wondering if it is possible to take over the ownership or be a maintainer where I am able to add the other co-maintainers in future?
avpaderno@truls1502 I gave you the permission to administer maintainers. This means you are able to add them to that project. (I used the project link you gave in #4.)

truls1502Thank you so much, @kiamlaluno!
