This module enables the Accessibility Checker plugin (and its dependency, Balloon Panel) from CKEditor.com in CKEditor in Drupal 7.x when using the Wysiwyg module.

  • It checks to make sure you've got your libraries (CKEditor plugins) installed correctly and reports so on the Drupal status report page.
  • It adds checkboxes for both plugins to Wysiwyg profiles using CKeditor at /admin/config/content/wysiwyg/profile/%text format%/edit
  • When you check the boxes it adds the A11ychecker button to CKeditor for accessibility-checking goodness.

I wrote a blog post about this module earlier this year. A similar module is available for Drupal 8, and it looks like it is even on track to be integrated into Drupal 8 core.
