So sorry for an issue. I tried to make it a low-pri support request. I'm trying to make an image slideshow within a node of the node's images. This module seemed critical to that process in D7 but following the D7 tutorials seems incorrect for D8. Any ideas on how-to blogs or hints?

+1 for views slideshow it is pretty flexible.

If you can get by with just a multiple cardinality image field on your node you may find a slideshow module such as flexslider will solve your problem more simply.
