Does anyone know the probable data of availability of panels2 module for drupal v6.x ?
There's an issue on that in its queue. It's being worked on but there's no ETA.

subscribing, was wondering the same thing as the og to d6 seems to be moving along. I was interested in panels for this
It's being actively worked on and there will hopefully be an alpha soon. You'll have more luck watching the commit logs than subscribing to a post that the people doing the work probably aren't even reading.
