Hi,

We have an immediate requirement to surface IBM Lotus eMail in Drupal based intranet and also to achieve SSO with Lotus Domino.

Drupal which is on version 7 is running on a LAMP stack. Authentication for Drupal is on Fedora's 389 Directory Server. IBM Notes/Domino is on v 8.5.

1 - One option would be to do custom development on the Drupal framework itself with PHP 5.x and build a PHP gadgets to surface email
2 - The other approach would be to get IBM iNotes through an iFrame

The idea is to get the user logged into the intranet once and have him utilize intranet features as well as access his mail from Notes/Domino.

Please advice your recommendations/best practices on how the integration could be done

Can't speak to the email integration, but for SSO couldn't you use ldap?

Have you been able to get it working logging into Drupal and clicking on Lotus link in browser?
We have the same question and are testing the different modules, we are able to see a list in Drupal with a import button.

We have Drupal 7 and Lotus Domino 8.5, what modules do you work with?

I am using the inotes inside an iFrame withing the drupal and it is working fine.
and we are implementing the inotes SSO now to be used.
