The "Current password" field needs not be present in every edit of that page - it is required only when users try to change their email or password. I believe that it would be better UX if this was moved to a modal dialog that only popped up when these fields are altered.

Drupal core is moving towards using a “main” branch. As an interim step, a new 11.x branch has been opened, as Drupal.org infrastructure cannot currently fully support a branch named main.
