I'm currently developing a website that will allow employees to login and upload files to be shared throughout the company.

Is there some sort of file explorer module (similar to Mac or Windows) that shows folder hierarchy and files? Like when you are browsing folders and files using an FTP client. But the user can only view certain folders and files that they have permission to, and only some users can delete and add files.

I am looking for similar specifically for Drupal 7
I could use Atrium and the Folders feature - have you checked those out?
However I wish to use D7 for other reasons.
I believe (untested) that I could use the Filefield Sources and IMCE modules but they don't exactly give me what I want.

ElFinder may be another option?
