[solved] goto admin/structure/views/settings

Btw I wished I could delete my own posts - the solution was found on these forums anyway.

Original:
In Drupal 6 I can always see the results and SQL query at the bottom of the view. But in Views 3 only the results are displayed, but theSQL query is not. Is there a method to see the actual query of the view ?

version of views I have is 7.x-3.0-rc1 and I do not see any option at the below url to enable seeing sql.
what am I doing wrong?

fureigh’s picture

Instead of visiting that URL, try just clicking the 'Update preview' button on the edit page for your view (/admin/structure/views/view/NAMEOFYOURVIEW).

You need to enable the option to display the SQL query on the (very well hidden) Views settings page (admin/structure/views/settings). It's easy to jump to looking at the list of views without noticing the setting tab.

Make sure you run the view to get the SQL.

Always show: Query No query was run

I have the same issue. Even after I enable show sql queries in the settings AND get results, I always get a "No query was run" message instead of the actual sql query that was run. ?
