I am having a problem getting gmap top work properly on my installation - I have installed map and gmap under Drupal 4.7 with the Andreas01 theme and I only get a gray street map displayed, despite the fact that the macro calls for 'Hybrid' display.

I saw an earlier post in a bug report for gmap relating to the theme .css entry for max-width=100% but there is no such command in the style.css nor in the Andreas01.css files.

Has anyone any suggestions? I built the macro using the map function and compared it with that generated using an external macro generator (helpfully on one of the drupal sites) and the two are similar save for the exact Lat and Long. There is not issue with reversal here - the street map is where I hope it to be - absent is the satellite overlay.

When I use the macro in the external macro generation site I get the overlay. Analysing the macro, the code calls for the Hybrid mode - this seems to be a display problem rather than a macro problem.

Is there some simple checklist that I can go through to ensure that things are all set up correctly?

The page on which I am having the problem is http://wye-house.com/node/14

Any suggestions much appreciated.

Right,

The problem I was having is related to the theme - there is a fix for the theme that I am using (Andreas01) here: http://groups.google.com/group/Google-Maps-API/browse_thread/thread/dc3e... which I resolved by commenting out the #content img code segment by putting /* at the beginning and */ after the final '}'.

Lo! it works:-)

Hope that helps someone.

If you are not using Andreas01 then you should probably search for gmap AND your theme name in the forums - there is also a related fix (but entirely different in terms of the code segment to be removed) for K2.

Regards

Ian
