Is anyone working on the upload of video or swfs?

Where there might be someway to have a media library of these files (including images, and thumbnails poss), meta-tagged, searchable, and also a way to embed them or link to them from other nodes?

What would that entail? Ideas?

Yes, swf files are fine, I like that.
