Hi

I want to add an existing Javascript code to my drupal installation. (it is a scrolling banner, refer to http://www.webreference.com/js/column13/index.html ).

I just to display the 5 latest nodes that have a certain type (eg "news" or "myevents").

Can someone tell me how to start and which documentation to look at.
How to troubleshoot ?

What have you tried so far?
Have you looked at Javascript in Drupal. <-- that link was on the first page of the search for those words. Did you not try that?
