Hello!
I'd do a site with producers and product.. the proble is: there is a producers' page (with photos, datas, etc) with a link, or button says "create product"... and I don't know how can I do that the new product page will related to the producers page. The autocreate node reference is not good because very diificult to set up, and I cannot do 2-3 types to became related to this content.
Is there any idea?
Thnx
Szegedi Gábor
ps: I tried to append variable to the link, but i cannot do it correctly...

Hi,

There are a couple of modules that should do the trick:

http://drupal.org/project/prepopulate
which allows you to prepopulate all kinds of form data and...

http://drupal.org/project/nodereference_url
which only does the node-ref field, but looks extremely easy to set up.

Thats ok, thnx,
...but how can I add dynamicly variables to url (expl:
http://www.example.com/node/add/page/VARIABLE1/VARIABLE2... etc)
Is there any module, or just PHP?

I think, from a quick look, that the nodereference_url module automatically creates links if it finds a link to a suitable referenced content type. For more complex links, like those used in Prepopulate, you'd need to alter the links yourself - but there is a Drupal hook for altering links: http://api.drupal.org/api/function/hook_link_alter/6. Or, if you've only got one or two links to change, you could modify your theme templates.
