We, at Gurux Ltd, a Finnish Open Source software company, have been using a Drupal based web site for quite a while now. We're very pleased with the structure, looks, and versatile possibilities that Drupal offers. All the modules that we have downloaded and added to our site are great. Thank you all!

We have been looking forward to finding a way to contribute to Drupal.org, so, please, do not consider this as "just another advertisement". Since we do not have the resoucres to make the contribution as a Drupal module, this message is our way to let you know about our application, which is usable to anyone who wants to utilize his/her own Drupal statistics. Our application is Open Source, under a GPL2 license.

This project started, when planning a solution for our own company needs, but as we developed it further, it started to seem that others also could benefit from it. One of the reasons for us, to choose Drupal, was the clear statistics. As the statistics are widely used in our company, for different purposes, we decided to code an application to visualize the information that is available in the statistics of our Drupal (version 6) site. From this idea, among others, the GXDataRefinery was born.

Yet another Wordpress theme has been ported to Drupal. This time it is jQ, ported from one of the most popular wordpress themes of the same name. The original wordpress theme was developed by devolux and the drupal port was developed by Zyxware. You can see the Drupal jQ theme here. jQ is a clean theme with a div based, fixed width, 2-column layout (content+right sidebar).

Released! Offline Drupal Handbook and API Documentation

One of the benefits of joining the Drupalse Group at Linkedin.com is that members get first notice of updates and changes to "How to do Everything with Drupal". This is an ebook that contains all the Drupal.org Handbook pages and the API documentation. The book is in CHM format which gives features like search, indexing and bookmarking on windows platforms. This compartmentalized version of the documentation will make learning and using Drupal easier and more convenient. At present the file size is just under 50mb of compressed HTML pages and graphics. Some pages are long but this will be adjusted in later versions.

This is a work that takes a lot of effort to produce. An on going effort to make the ebook a complete self-contained archive with very few link to the web. There are also costs involved in hosting the download. To keep it free and available please think about donating or sponsoring the effort. You can read more about sponsorship and advertising.

Contribute to Drupal by adding your content to the Offline documentation!
