New Tigase version - 2.9.1 - deeper integration with Drupal

Hello,

In Nov 2006 I announced new release of Tigase Jabber/XMPP server which offered user authentication against Drupal database. It allows to have just single user account for both services which is very useful in many cases.

All user account settings are controlled from Drupal web site (like user account creation, password change, admin can disable account and this is also respected by Tigase server).

Yesterday I released new version of Tigase server with even more features integrating these 2 services:

  1. Notifications about new posts on the forum.
  2. Short/Mini news posting from your XMPP client. This includes simple plug in in StanzaReceiver (Drupal independent, can be used with other systems) and simple module for Drupal - look for "Minis from XMPP" on Tigase site.

I'm just new member. But I feel Drupal is a good platform to develop PHP project. It provide an easy way to develop by yourself. Now I want to combine Drupal and Moodle system. Are there any way? Please help.

In order to prepare for future growth of Drupal.org and the needs of the Drupal community the Drupal Association is looking into starting a paid advertising program. We believe that paid advertising that is relevant to the needs of Drupal administrators, Drupal users, and the Drupal community can be placed in relevant sections of Drupal.org and help the Drupal community greatly by funding improvements and infrastructure for Drupal.org websites.
