download and update/replace with the one on Drupal's /misc directory for Drupal 5 sites with Jquery update module installed http://drupal.org/project/jquery_update
I needed the ability to restrict users to see only the node teaser until they paid a subscription. i seem to recall seeing this in the past at 4.x level but I couldn't find anything so i wrote it.
install the module, then set access permissions by type using the usual admin/user/access.
Now when they pay subscription i can just change thier role to an authorised one which most subscription modules do.
Our new page is submitted for all to input their comments and suggestions. Please remember this is just a draft and will be tweaked as comments come in. Bare with us as it will take awhile to adjust to the change and I know you'll find it more user friendly as we go along. The webmaster is Paul Shrek, a former marine corpsman and presently computer engineer with the Fripp Island, SC TV network. He will be modifying any necessary changes and helping us finesse this site.
If the idea of comprehensive and organized instruction videos is appealing to you, contact Lynda.com at cs@lynda.com. They are presently taking a poll of the demand for Drupal. I find great value in their videos for other software as they are broken down into short (2 - 10 minutes), well organized segments that allow you to quickly find what you need. As someone who loves Drupal but is not a programmer, this is what I need. I am a visual learner. If you are too and feel this would be helpful, please take the time to let them know.
Just thought I'd share with the community that I used Drupal's Timeline module in a criminal case that I prosecuted recently. Part of the evidence involved IM Messenger logs where the defendant had been in simultaneous IM conversations and received some file downloads of illegal images during one of the conversations.
I wanted to visually represent the IM messages going back and forth in both IM's and to show the receipt of the illegal images in the context of the IM conversations that were taking place. The Timeline module looked like it would enable me to do exactly what I wanted to in terms of creating the visual representation of the various pieces of evidence.
Thanks to Arto's help I was able to get enough of an understanding about the Timeline module to apply it to my needs. Arto also came up with a little code hack so that Timeline's GMT timestamp issue could be overcome.
