As we cram more information into a site, the space usage - in particular how blocks are being offered/placed - becomes critical.
Suggestion for improved block flexibility:
- possibility to group blocks with the same weight/placement. Then have a tiny clickable icon to the left of the block title which cycles through the blocks in that group, re-using the same space.
- One of those "views" in the cycle can show last x items taken from all blocks in that group.
Hey i dont know what configuration/permission changes i made in last few days, but now when an anonymous user try to register on my site ..after feeling username and email, and pressing register..it gives an error "You are not authorise to access this page".
The "Public restrictions settings" are set to "Visitors can create accounts and no administrator approval is required."
Why is it, regardless of the CMS, That there is no reset button on forms? I grow tired of having to reload a page to get back a clean form. Screw Jakob Nielsen. I want to be able to create a node, come back to that form (rather than the view) and then hit reset and create another node.
Is there a way to do this without hacking the core of Drupal?
The book module has a built-in 'print this page' capacity and the Print Friendly Pages module is ready for 4.7. This is good but... wouldn't it be better to recommend a decent printing capacity to the Drupal themes themselves? Starting with the official ones, shipped in the default install, that could have printing friendlyness as a requirement.
