Deprecated - Usability feedback

Why is there no list of variables in api docs? There are functions and constants, but not variables. Where do I learn about the variables? My understanding is that there is a module called variables, but it's 4.6 only.

My problem is this. I enabled a small piece of code called emailchange.module that I got from a forum thread. It works in that the user cannot change their email address.

But now it turns out no one can. User 1 cannot add an user. And the module is currently DISABLED.

Hi everyone,
I'm having some problems setting up searhcing in my site. The theme i'm using doesn't have searching built in, so i'm using custom searching. On the search on my page, when you enter in a text in the search field, it goes to search/node with no search results. How do I fix this? I'm not familiar with PHP but I'm getting the gist of this. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I feel like..... I dunno. It should be open, inviting. Friendly, easy to use.

I want to reduce the number of menu items, but then I think, oh, but all of this is so useful. So I actually got rid of the whole right side, and made them all user enabled blocks.

Hello , I need to create an intranet for my firm :
- We have an active directory on W2K3
- We have 3 groups in the active directory " STAFF_be, STAFF_fr, STAFF_lu" for the 3 countries.

This intranet should be in two parts :
- public part : public documents ( shared between all countries )
- private part : 3 privates parts for each staff groups "priv_staff_be, priv_staff_fr, priv_staff_lu " where each country can contribute to the group staff_country where " private " document can be different between countries , legal documents..holiday request ...)

Okay, I have no idea which forum this belonged in. I read all carefully, but it didn't really fit specifically with any as far as I could tell.

I want to be able to have users to my site be able to copy/paste text that looks like this:

OK in my CSS i make sure that each image is padded and contains a box around them. This makes the site unique and looks great.

All i did was add the following to make all images this way :-
