I am looking for a NYC-area based web design and development firm to help re-create North Star Fund's website: northstarfund.org. The firm selected will spearhead the discovery, design, development, content migration, launch, and post-launch troubleshooting of the new northstarfund.org.

North Star Fund is a community foundation supporting grassroots groups leading the movement for equality, economic justice and peace in New York City. By organizing donors, raising money for grants, and providing technical assistance, we support efforts ranging from better schools, housing and health care, to protecting civil liberties, creating living wage jobs, and advocating for peace, freedom and human rights.

Project Specifications
The overall goals for the new northstarfund.org are an attractive site whose design clearly reflects our mission and organizational personality, navigation that is simple to use and encourages visitors to take our desired actions, basic integration with SalesForce (our donor database), and an administrative back-end that is simple for North Star Fund staff to use.

London Design Works are looking for an experienced Drupal developer to join our team.

We are a growing development agency that specialise in creating Drupal sites with our in-house designers as well as working with large specialist design agencies across the city.

This role is ideally suited to someone that leans towards server-side development and working with expanding or creating Drupal modules. Understanding where to implement hooks or preprocess functions as well as a grasp of linking with other systems using methods such as JSON.

As well as server-side coding daily tasks will include front end theming, module setup, and Drupal site configuration.We work with a wide variety of clients, building straight-forward information based sites for SME's through to large data management sites for bigger organisations. There are also ongoing internal projects where new ideas and fresh thinking will be very welcome.

We are a small evolving company so by joining us early you will be in a position to quickly take on new responsibilities and grow with us as a company.

This is an in-house position at our Old Street offices in London.

Essential Skills:

2yrs + Drupal Experience with very good knowledge of PHP
Good understanding of Drupal's database abstraction system
Sound knowledge of HTML / CSS
A good team worker

We are currently looking for a drupal developer to assist with our on-going projects. (Tele-commute, no office hours).

Our main site is an online education subscription based website (ubercart + online education). Please only apply if you wish to build an ongoing relationship with our company for long term work projects. Currently projects are on a "as-need" contract basis, but are expected to remain steady. We have been using drupal since 4.7, and in business for longer.

We are looking for a responsible individual who is able to provide estimates before work begins and a clear invoice of work completed afterwards. You will be paid promptly on completion. Payment is via paypal. We do most of our meetings via email or skype. Our office is located in Vancouver Canada, but some team members reside internationally or travel often.

You must be available within a reasonable amount of time if emergent issues arise. Because we are a subscription based website, we have many users logging into their paid accounts daily. We will give priority to people residing in North America. The closer the time zone to California/BC, the better.

We are looking for a Drupal developer/themer to build a bilingual Website, Japanese and English (We will do the translation to Japanese ourselves, we just need the translation system set-up/all of the strings to be translatable/etc.). Some custom programming will be required, but we'd like to use Drupal modules as much as possible.

We want someone who can start working on this soon, in the next week or so, ideally.
We'd prefer American/European developers for this project.
