Ref: We are migrating a "phpwebsite" site to "Drupal". While the "old" phpwebsite is active we are porting / migrating the content to the new site (with a new hosting company).
We seek assistance from a drupal expert during this conversion. Our main issues are:
1. Having a "goto" person for explanations and php code development is some cases.
2. Need someone to explain various Drupal functionality while we become more familiar with Drupal terms.
3. Assistance in configuring (properly configuring) Drupal modules.

The Center for Media and Democracy, a nonprofit organization based in Madison, Wisconsin, is looking for a webmaster to help develop its online activism projects, including the PR Watch website (www.prwatch.org) and SourceWatch (www.sourcewatch.org). Candidates should have a strong knowledge of HTML, PHP and MySQL, as well as some experience with CSS.

Any here need webspace? I'll exchange it for some work I need done web design that is nothing real fancy reply for you interested right back I'll give you the rest of the details.

Well it is now time that we examine the possibility of bringing the monetary resources together for building the Drupal installer in order to encourage the completion such a system. My company would take responsibility for having such a module built, but we think it appropriate to leave it up to Adrian, who has already been working on this project, to bring it to completion with some monetary support from the community. We however are more than willing to take on such a task if it is asked of us.

A few suggestions/comments:
In addition to what Adrian has suggested, we think a module that would fetch a list of current modules from Drupal.org and would download and install these modules. In addition, suggestions for a simple text config file that describes the simple installation process should be included in each released module and a simple text file can be generated from the releases to inform the live installer of new modules available.

These are just some basic points, let the discussion begin on how this can be brought to fruition and included in the core, or even as an addon, whichever is preferable. We need an amount required, an account set up on donage, and official requirements drawn up (which, again, we would be happy to do).

I'm a marketer with a client who needs to overhaul/scrap their existing community site.

Requirement is for subscription-based community services including user profile page/microsite, user blog, private messenging between users, web/pop user email, forums etc. And needs to be linked to an affilate scheme. Probably also a bunch of other features I've forgotten.

I need very slight modifications made to Drupal, but I am no programmer and really need some help. Are there any Drupal pros out there that would make Drupal modifications for a fee? Judging from discussions in the forum, I think they'd all be pretty simple to make:
