Help! Small business site seeking RELIABLE, experienced drupal developer for ongoing tech support for drupal-created site. Site has had some turnover and editor (site administrator) needs technical help for a upcoming launch. Would love someone happy to help train a non-technical, but levelheaded and sharp editor (site administrator) how to work in drupal environment. Some hand-holding is required.
We are developing an online-chess-playing-portal using Drupal, and it would be nice to have well-designed theme for it. For now we are coding game functionality, and so on, but we are programmers, not very literate in design.
The portal, for a start, will consist of:
- statistic, rating and top players pages;
- user profiles;
- forum;
- news;
- some useful articles;
- and off course online chess play function provided with java-applet.
We are looking for a Drupal developer who is capable of developing both the logical and presentation layer of Drupal 4.7. Initially there will be a module to be developed. After that we are looking to have continuous development and support for our web application. We are looking to start development as soon as possible.
If interested please email me your availability, rate, sample work, and any references.

I have been using Drupal for a little more than a year now, and been using simple themes (i.e. blue bars) slightly altered to my tastes. I am now looking for a basic, clean, theme. This is something I could do on my own, but it would take me days or weeks while someone who does this sort of thing professionally would only take a several hours.
I need someone to implement a theme from a photoshop mockup. The theme is will be based off of the generic theme, Summer Holiday (http://drupal.org/project/summerholiday). All I really need changed is the wrap-around design. All typography, colors, etc can be the same as the Summer Holiday theme.
I am setting up a website as a news/magazine site, but the "look" still seems very generic looking and unimpressive and "cookie cutter".
I would like to find out how much someone would charge to be able to help with the "look and feel" aspects of the website, and any needful customization for a good design.
(Currently I am running drupal 4.7.2 with the planet nine theme).
(This is a mostly hobby site, and Im not wealthy, so Im looking for an inexpensive way to change the look, and I havent the skills to create a custom theme on my own.)
