We have a new Drupal website at www.contentrealtime.com On our test site (not yet moved to live BETA) we have now added 160,000 records to our MySQL database in the form of eBook data elements (that can be searched, displayed and purchased). We have run into serious "SLOW PERFORMANCE" issues, both the main page of the site and any search we do. Any thoughts on how to tweak indexes or have Drupal respond reasonably to such a database record size? The Admin shows all items are indexed.

I have big problem: a lot of queries per second to non existing pages like www.site.com/' uri '/' uri '/' uri '/' uri '/' uri '/' uri '/' uri '/' uri '/' uri '/' uri '/' uri '/' uri '/' uri '/' uri ' and so on.

My site bandwidth is up 15-20 times up to 20GB per day :(
my server is often downtime...

Which module could fight to these types of attacks?

I'm wondering if it's convenient that every time Drupal calls a hook it's invoked in all modules that implements it. This fact doesn't attempt against the performance of the site ????????

i have one website where Teachers create events for their students
i am able to create Events with the help of Event module but the problem is
Events created by Teacher is not coming on Group Calander
Like there is a teacher of Mathematics and he is having a group known as Maths and there are 5 students who are member of this group
So whenever Maths Teacher creates event it must appear on group's calander and group members calanders but it will not appear even on Maths Teacher's calander
plz tell me why this is happening

I am doing 1 site using drupal 5.6, in that site, i have put one image .
Problem is that, when we go for new user registration, that image is not displayed, but on the other form, the same image is displayed properly.....
