Is there a straightforward answer to this question? I'm trying to develop some PHP code (under Drupal 5.1) to list a series of node titles drawn from different databases, some of which are in version 4.6 still, and others in 4.7. I'm using the db_set_active() function to switch between databases. The titles are in several different languages that use "funny" characters. This all works fine, except for one thing: the results returned by db_query (the db_query is in Drupal 5.1) look fine if they come from a Drupal 4.7 database, but are all messed up if they come from Drupal 4.6.
Is there any way to make the textareas appear below, rather than to the right of, the label without hacking the core? If not, what file do I have to edit? I don't care if I have to hack to get it right since as it is, there won't be enough width for what I'm doing.
Also, why does Drupal say "there are no posts in this category" when it would make much, much more sense (and probably be easy to do) to say "there are no [plural for one content type that uses this taxonomy], [next content type plural], ..."?
I am not clear on how the i18n translation module works to translate menu items.
Right now, I have translated some menu items by searching for them in the strings amd tramslating them but others menu items are not in the fr.po file.
It has something to to with switching languages with the translation block language switcher thingy to add the string to the fr.po file when I create a menu item.
Please somebody explain exactly how these modules work to create menu translations in the strings so I can stop futzing around trying to make this work.
I have some problems with teh nice_menu module on my template with IE , and only with IE...
I tried everything but it didn't work !
Until the whole world discovers Firefox ,if somebody could help me i'will appreciate !
