Hopefully I can explain my problem without being too wordy, but anyway, we live in the dark ages and are still using Drupal 4.7.x!! We're in the process of upgrading to 6.x, with the in-between step of upgrading to 5.x first.

Anyway, I've done all the good stuff: installed new files, upgraded modules, etc. When I run the update.php script, everything seems to work fine. After updating, the status report tells me that the DB is still outdated. (Is this normal?) I update again, and things still appear to be in order.

i want to show the IP Address for each users besides the other information i.e. Last Access, Member For etc. on admin/user page. i know drupal stores ip address for each user login in watchdog table. but i dont know how to add that to the admin/user page.

I've got a fresh 4.7 install that I'm comparing it to, but what tables might be messed up in my upgraded site? Should I forge ahead, upgrading all the modules, and ignore the problem, then straighten it out in 5 or 6?
