Profile Listings

I have a series of fields setup for user profiles on a college site. These are:

Pathway
--Architecture
--Artefact
--Spatial

Stage
--Stage 1
--Stage 2
--Stage 3

A user would be classified with a selection from each of these (eg. Stage 1, Architecture or Stage 2, Artefact, etc). It is simple to select all the students who are in a specific Pathway (eg. /profile/profile_pathway/Architecture) or Stage (eg. /profile/profile_Stage/Stage 1).

Internationalization in 4.7 - Beta 2?

Hi,

does anybody know if it's safe to use the 4.6 i18n module with the 4.7 Beata 2? If not is there a 4.7 version of i18n yet? I couldn't find one anywhere.

Thx, Felix

Using Custom Regions - 4.7

Hi all,

Checked out the creating custom regions doc at:

http://drupal.org/node/29139

Have a few questions:

1) Do i need to declare the default phptemplate variables of $sidebar_left, $sidebar_right, $content, $header, and $footer_message in the template.php file that I put in my theme directory?

I ask because when I use the code snippet in the docs, it does not provide the default regions as options in the block admin interface, only the regions I declared in template.php

Image question

How can I have drupal display a random thumbnail as a block on a sidebar?

auto sorting based on registration information

Is there any way to sort out the users to different groups automatically on the basis of the information provided in the registration form. Thus, they belong to different editing permissions without the intervention of the admin. Right now, every registered user automatically belongs to the 'authenticated user' group. How can such automation be possible for other groups based on their professions and/or geographic locations and/or sex and/or nationalities? Please be explicit for 4.6 and 4.7 (possibly applicable to civicspace 0.8.2)? Thanks!

Post forum topic

Iam having problem getting the new forum posts/topic clickable(a link). Please take a look at the following link

http://www.allgenius.net/snasanet/forum/15

This makes the forum useless, when nobody cant read the topics. :/ And iam having a official opening of the site today. Not the greatest start of a new year I tell you...
