Site pages NOT loading fully

It seems my sites pages don't load fully. Also when I tries to edit them, even than pages don't load properly, only half page get loads. This may have something to do with me on shared hosting and anytime 30 people being logged in and me installing around 30+ additional modules instlalling but anyway, How can I optimize my site. Right now, changing hosting plan is not an option. Will uninstall some modules surely...Anything else ...

Logins no "sticking"

After some months of neglect, I decided to resurrect the test server I run on my local system. I did so hoping to test out a few modules boasting wiki-style linking. I made a snapshot of the production site and loaded it on my server. The test server now runs perfectly fine as a clone of the production server -- except for one thing.

Whenever I logon, I stay logged on for only the page immediately after logging on. Once I navigate away, I'm kicked off. Can anyone help?

Sortable table columns

Greetings!

I know how to use theme_table() to make a table, and when any given column is a database field, I know how to make that column sortable.

My question is, what if the column is NOT a database field? For example, the table in question has 3 columns:

Column 1 is a taxonomy term from a certain vocabulary. It's from the DB and is sortable.

Column 2 is the number of nodes that use that term. It's calculated.

Column 3 is the TOTAL number of views (AKA clicks) that ALL of those nodes, collectively, have gotten. It's a calculated field as well.
