I have multiple sites on a VPS and recently one of them is awfully slow. But not while browsing, only for editing. No matter what I edit (even just deleting a comment), it takes at least 30 seconds.
Another site that sits on the same server (it has even more modules installed) is fast even for edits.
I am a bit lost since I cannot imagine where I should start looking.
I want something like "Quotes" module but more complicated. I use "Quotes" module in my site but I want to display sentences in another separated department in the site.
I'm very new to this, and have never installed Drupal before. I read the install document, and adjusted the settings.php file with the necessary info; after doing this, these error messages appear when I attempt to load the page:
I'm having problem for posting from last few days. I'm posting contents in "URDU" language. Drupal show content properly in preview, but after submission it shows content as "????????"
Whats' wrong?

This is not a community site. Only the admin will create content for the site. So I need the "Create Content" menu item to be buried in the admin section, so it it only visible to the admin.
For some reason, using the menus feature and setting the 'parent' menu item does not seem to work. It keeps popping up in the (user) Navigation menu. The only thing I have found to work is to make it a 'child' item under 'View Site Content', and then disable 'View Child Content'.
