Drupal 4.7.x

We are currently hosting a site and using
varnish HTTP accelerator.
But some of the modules that depend on Voting Api won't work for anonymous users,
since anonymous users are getting the same ip-address because of varnish is acting as bridge.

Anybody encountered the same or similar issue.
Any insight or proposals on how to solve this issue, will be mostly appreciated.

I am trying desperately to find an alternative to http://drupal.org/project/pageroute (which is an awesome module by the way) because It doesn't seem to be compatible with http://drupal.org/project/nodelimit.

With pageroute I could simply make a "route" like this: Create node -> view next node.

I can't seem to get any stories or anything I promote to the main page to load underneath those two things regardless of what I do..

I'd like to make the background of just one block invisible. I am using the default tangy theme with vbdrupal and vbulletin templates. I looked at the section module, but this module changes the theme for the entire page rather than just for the block. Any ideas?
