Drupal 4.7.x

I have downloaded the live site from server on my machine.
Locally it displays the homepage only, but all other links are not working properly even I have done all the settings in Settings.php.
So I would like to know further solution for it.
I have WAMP server on my machine and whole site is in Drupal 4.7

1) In the "Recent Comments" block it provides the 10 most recent comments. Under the comment subject it lists the time stamp. How do I removed the timestamp?

2) How would I go about altering how many characters the titles are displayed in the recent comments block?

3) A similar question is that many taxonomy based blocks provide the number of nodes under the category. e.g. "Category (12)". Is there a way to remove the number annotation?

I am having a very unusual problem with the Trip Search module that has never ocurred before on previous Drupal installations I've done. (I've used this module several times, as I think it's way superior to the core search.) When I type a keyword into the input box on http://mysite.com/trip_search, the page refreshes but no results are displayed - I mean, nothing on the page changes at all, it just "rolls over".

I'm upgrading from 4.7.3 to 5.1.
First I upgraded to 4.7.6 and all modules to latest versions (4.7.x)
Here I'm getting a strange problem , in some of my nodes it does not show body of content.Also it showing full node instead of teaser.

This problem persist after upgrading to 5.1.
How to resolve this.

Hi I recently upgraded to drupal 4.7.3 because my site broke after a move to a new host who used php5.

I have sucessfully upgraded the site and database and modules although I am having problems with the audio module
but the reson I am posting is because users get logged out automatically after going to the home page.
It used to be I could not log in at all but then I applied a fix I found on this site which was to add

$GLOBALS['tempUser'] = $user;
