I have installed RSVP module on Drupal 4.7.6. It is working ok.
The problem is: as users are enabled to send an invitation email to a list of people, is there a risk of abuse? Users could abuse of this feature to send out a lot of spam.
Furthermore, as in the message properties (of the invitation email) you can read the sender server (my website server) and the name of the website hosting the event (my website) there is a real risk that people receiving such spam associates my website to this spamming practice.
I've been working on a site now for a while using organic groups and og_galleries, and one problem I've been trying to figure out (as I posted here with no responses) is to be able to filter nodes that appear on the group home page so that when images are uploaded to the galleries, they are not displayed as separate nodes on the group home page (I even posted an issue, but it was never resolved).
I have allot of non savvy customers, one is a large phone directory and advertiser. They need to move from their old static HTML and php driven site to a new CMS. Unfortunately they have their hearts set on this http://phpyellow.com
PHPYellow looks clunky, old, ugly and just plain terrible, I am well aware how much the wrong CMS can impact a data centric business and I would appreciate any experience or info anyone can share regarding PHPYellow.
We at meidia studio just completed work at http://radioenergie.com/carrefour. It is a community web site with over 190,000 members. People can create user profiles, submit news, record video and audio clips, gain points and vote for content. The target for the users is to become a "Web Jockey" which is selected by the RadioEnergie web team on a weekly basis.
I'd like to create the custom front page with my own design which excludes left and right side bars.
From that custom front page, after i click on the text, it goes to the default home page which includes left, right and contents.
How can i create this custom front page/theme in drupal 4.7?
Please advise me.
Thanks in advance.
