Drupal 4.7.x

Split mode is what worked for me in the 4.7 branch, where I could work on 8MB PHP memory limit quite nicely using modules like CCK, taxonomy, og, and views without the memory being of any kind of issue. Now when I'm hopelessly trying to upgrade to 5.x, I'm constantly been hit with the white screen of death, although the PHP limit has been raised to 16MB.

We're upgrading from upgrading from 4.7 to 5.7
and there's a bunch of content stuff that is sort of broken and will need to be redone.
However, the forums are fine.

Is there a way to export the forums to an .xml file or similar and import them back into a "clean" install ?

Progress

1) Assuming you read that post, someone from there volunteered as I have, to help fix this large problem. They have ran diffs and drawn a roadmap for an upgrade to 4.7.11 then 5, and eventually 6.
2) Monthly fee for our development server has been donated by another individual.
3) Exported/imported, tarred/untarred.

I'm building a site where people are showing their projects to each other. So each person has an account and there will be projects (nothing more than a page with simple HTML). I want to connect users to the projectpages. So within the view of the project the connected users are shown and on the other hand, at the profile of a user his projects are shown. A project can have more than one user and a user can have more than one project.

Would it be best to use Organic Groups for this, or is there any other sollution?

I have a small community on drupal and it is getting spammed. I think it needs to be updated and I also want to move hosts. I have tried to do this and have gotten error after error with no luck. I've been poking around, but have not seen any way to get a RSS feed of drupal's modules. What I'm after is basically as things are updated in the Modules/Date that I can get a feed of those changes.

Big feature in my opinion, as it helps keep up to date with what is happening with Drupal6 updates, but also to keep an eye on the module base as a whole.
